Read more about Tania below, in her own words.
Greetings, my name is Ta’Nia Dixon. It is an honor for myself and my family to receive the Army ROTC 3-Year scholarship. After high school, I plan to attend Tuskegee University to study Political Science with a minor in Business Management. Upon graduation, I will commission into the United States Army as a 2nd Lieutenant and eventually become a Judge Advocate General. My contract will include serving on active duty for four years and four years in the reserves.

As far as my personal life, I am a very family-oriented person. I enjoy playing golf with my father, going shopping with my mom and sister, and lastly playing video games with my little brother. Over my high school career, I surprisingly made a new family: Norview High School’s NJROTC. During my four years of high school I was a member of the Norview NJROTC program. I was a member of the school’s nationally ranked All Area Five Team (PT, Academics, and Drill) and a member of the cadet staff. Norview’s NJROTC program greatly influenced me into becoming the young lady I am today. The program provided me discipline and hands-on leadership skills, ultimately instilling me with the utmost motivation and dedication any person could have. I hope that my Army ROTC experience at Tuskegee is just as fulfilling.
