Resolve Solutions: Munch & Learn and the Latest!
September was a big month for Resolve Solutions as we hosted a successful online Munch & Learn event with over 300 participants! We were joined by a great panel of cadets, veterans, and interviewees that made this an informative and eyeopening event for students interested in military careers. Otis Toussaint, Public Affairs Specialist in Social Media in the U.S. Army, was our wonderful host and VJ for Munch & Learn and we also welcomed MG (Ret) Cedric Wins to share his insights from years of military service.
The valuable stories and information didn’t stop there as we were joined by a diverse group of cadets from various HBCUs and senior military colleges to lead an inspiring panel. The cadet panel was filled with students of all areas from STEM, pre-med, nuclear engineering, and computer science. We gained great insight into the ROTC experience from Ololade Balogun, Charles White, Miah Ruiz, Evelyn Ayers, Brandon Lawson, and LeAndrew Jefferson.
Representatives from various schools in the country also took part as they gave us all the valuable information needed to get started in an ROTC program. We received helpful advice from those who know it best, including two newly commissioned officers 2LT Amira Davis of Old Dominion University and 2LT Miyah Boyd of Virginia Military Institute. To top off the event, we had a veteran panel filled with veteran entrepreneurs in various fields including health, consulting, education, and more, that provided insights on military leadership experience and much more.

What else have we been up to? Resolve Solutions took part in the VMI Club of Richmond 2020 Irby Cup which hosted 135+ participants! This event was fun for all as we enjoyed a good round of golf with all proceeds going to Resolve Solution’s mission to help kids achieve their goals and dreams.
